Samsung Galaxy A51 5G with Android 10 receives Wi-Fi Alliance certification

Samsung Galaxy A51 5G with model number SM-A516N has been certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance, bringing it much closer to going official. This comes after the phone’s support page had gone live recently and renders leaked out revealing the complete design of the Galaxy A51 5G. The Wi-Fi Alliance listing confirms the Galaxy A51 5G supports dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity and will run Android 10 with One UI 2.0 custom skin on top. It is expected to retain similar specifications and design as the 4G LTE model, except for the chipset is expected to be the Exynos 980 mid-range 5G processor.
The Samsung Galaxy A51 5G is also expected to ship with 6GB RAM and at least 64GB internal storage. The Galaxy A51 5G will have a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for selfie camera and L-shaped quad-camera set up in a rectangular module. It should have an in-display fingerprint sensor for security and possibly retain the 3.5mm audio jack. The Samsung Galaxy A51 5G launch could be imminent, so we should know more information soon.

Talking about the Samsung Galaxy A51 4G model, the smartphone sports a 6.5-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a centre-positioned punch-hole for the selfie camera and 2,400 x 1,080 pixels resolution. The phone is powered by the 2.3GHz octa-core Exynos 9611 SoC coupled with Mali-G72 GPU, 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage that is further expandable up to 512GB via a microSD card. It runs on Android 10 with OneUI 2.0 custom skin.
As for the cameras, the Samsung Galaxy A51 LTE has quad-camera at the back with a 48MP primary sensor, a 5MP macro lens, a 12MP wide-angle lens and a 5MP depth sensor. There is a 32MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats and an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. The Samsung Galaxy A51 houses a 4,000mAh battery and supports 15W fast charging.
